Kim Pat and Chad's hunt in South Dakota near Murdo. All got some nice bucks.

 

Justin got this 5 pt buck from the same stand he got his big buck 3 years ago. Dad was with Larry another youth in our church and I was with Justin. The deer ran no more than 30 yards and died.

 

Justin killed this deer at 35 yds with his bow. I was watching and he dropped it in its tracks. He hit the backbone and it let out a loud bawl that almost scared dad out of his stand about 200 yds away. We finally got him finished off with a couple of extra arrrows. 5 extra shots to be exact of which only one really hit solid. We might need some more practice. Thats 3 deer for Justin this year and none for dad and I.

No pics of Jes but got his animal. nice to see one killed for food and fun instead of winter kill like I saw in march
